Boarding Services
We offer boarding services for your bird for vacations, family emergencies, or other instances that may require you to be away from home for a period of time and unable to care for your bird.
The requirements for boarding are as follows:
~ Provide proof of clean health screen from your veterinarian.
~ You must bring your birds cage (cages are available for short term stays), favorite toys, food and treats (extended periods will be discussed upon determination of length of stay)
~ You must be willing to sign an agreement with 'Too Haven for relinquishment if your bird is not picked up (or other arrangements made) within 15 days after the scheduled pick-up date.
Services for Boarding:
~ Fresh fruits/veggies every morning.
~ Cooked veggies & bird bread every evening.
~ Seed mix & fresh nuts (every other day).
~ Out of cage time & playtime most of the day.
~ Outdoor sunshine daily (weather permitting).
~ Every other day bathing and/or misting.
~ Walks in the park & other outtings
(weather permitting).
Boarding for small birds (Goffins) is $9.00 per day/$45 per week
Large Birds (Umbrella's/Moluccan's) $15.00 per day/$75 per week.
